FEEDAPTOR / HOW TO

What does Feedaptor do, and what happens after export?

Understand the boundary between a reviewed catalog export and a live sales-channel connection.

Feedaptor turns an existing merchant product feed into a catalog you can inspect, correct through field review, and prepare as versioned export artifacts. The workflow keeps the original source, proposed values, decisions, and release evidence distinct so that you can explain which data was used.

A prepared export is the starting point for a destination integration. It does not by itself enroll a merchant, deploy a discoverable service on your domain, transfer a file to a platform, enable checkout, or prove that a destination accepted your products. Check the target profile and delivery requirements before making a release. Optional model-generated drafts are not active in the current offer.

What to do

  1. Explore the sample workflow before importing commercial data.
  2. Choose the target profile you need and read its scope in Destinations.
  3. Import a representative feed, resolve issues, and review proposed edits.
  4. Prepare and download a release, then arrange the required destination connection separately.
