FEEDAPTOR / HOW TO

Which export should I choose: ACP, UCP, or Google?

Choose an artifact by the destination workflow you have arranged, not just its acronym.

The ACP-oriented output prepares product-discovery records using the validation profile shown in Feedaptor. The UCP output is a catalog data snapshot with product and variant structure. The Google output is a supplemental feed tied to existing item IDs; it does not replace your complete primary Merchant Center feed.

Each target has a different operational boundary. A UCP snapshot still needs an appropriate merchant-domain runtime for a live service. An ACP-oriented file still needs the destination account, onboarding, and authorized delivery path. These exports do not enable checkout. A product can pass one target profile and still have issues relevant to another, so inspect readiness for the target you plan to use.

What to do

  1. Identify the platform and account that will consume the data.
  2. Read the target description and profile version in Destinations.
  3. Inspect target-specific errors rather than relying on the overall product count.
  4. Download the required artifact and audit evidence from the same release.
