FEEDAPTOR / HOW TO

What happens if a payment fails or renewal is past due?

Update billing on the existing subscription and inspect the resulting access state.

A failed first payment does not activate Merchant. If an existing subscription renewal fails, Feedaptor uses the verified billing state and any bounded grace period reported for that subscription. Do not assume that access or schedules will continue indefinitely while an account is past due.

Open the existing subscription billing view to update the payment method or resolve the failed payment. Starting another subscription can make the situation harder to reconcile. After payment recovery, return to Feedaptor and check that access is active. Review scheduled feeds and job history after an interruption; recovering billing does not prove that every missed source update has already run.

What to do

  1. Open Account and billing and inspect the current status.
  2. Update the existing subscription payment method or resolve the displayed payment issue.
  3. Return to Feedaptor and refresh the verified status.
  4. Check each important feed for freshness and failed or paused work.
  5. Open a billing ticket if the provider receipt and Feedaptor state disagree.
