For unattended refresh, Feedaptor needs a public HTTPS URL that returns the product feed. A browser session, a private network address, or a link that requires an interactive login will not provide a dependable source. Do not put usernames, passwords, or secret credentials into the URL.
Open the final URL and confirm that the response is the actual data, not a login screen, access-denied page, or a page containing a download button. A server can respond successfully while returning HTML rather than product records. Redirects and source restrictions can also prevent retrieval. Uploading a local file is useful for a first test, but it does not create a renewable URL source by itself.
What to do
- Obtain a direct HTTPS feed URL from your commerce or feed system.
- Confirm that it returns a supported feed without an interactive sign-in.
- Connect it to the intended feed and run a manual refresh.
- Review the resulting snapshot before enabling a schedule.
