FEEDAPTOR / HOW TO

How do I propose a correction to a product field?

Create a supported descriptive edit with a source note and optional evidence URL.

Select a product with a unique, non-empty item ID, choose a supported review field, and enter the proposed text. Add a reason that explains where the corrected value came from. An evidence URL is optional, but a useful note should still let another reviewer understand the decision.

Use the source feed for item IDs, group IDs, prices, and availability; those values are not editable in enrichment review. A proposal that replaces an existing proposal returns to pending and needs a new decision. Select additional supporting source fields when they explain the edit, because later changes to those inputs can require a recheck. Plain text is required for titles and descriptions.

What to do

  1. Find the product by its item ID or title.
  2. Choose a supported field and enter a factual replacement value.
  3. Add a source note and an evidence URL when useful.
  4. Select the source attributes that support the change.
  5. Save the proposal, inspect it in the review table, and make a separate approval decision.
