FEEDAPTOR / HOW TO

How do bulk actions, pause, cancel, and retry work?

Use previews and per-job progress to control changes across several feeds.

Feed Center lets you select feeds and preview a supported bulk action such as refresh, re-audit, link checks, pause, resume, or source-backed enrichment. The preview states the effects and expected job or page-check usage. Launching a batch does not approve fields, prepare a release, or confirm destination acceptance.

Batch progress is tracked per child job. Pausing prevents further batch work from being picked up; it does not undo work already completed. Canceling also does not restore earlier data or revoke downloaded artifacts. Retry failed items after addressing their cause rather than repeatedly re-running an entire successful batch. A source change after preview requires a new preview so the operation uses current revisions.

What to do

  1. Filter Feed Center and select only the intended feeds.
  2. Choose the action and inspect the preview effects and usage.
  3. Launch and monitor completed, running, retrying, and failed child jobs.
  4. Pause or cancel if needed, then inspect the state of each feed.
  5. Correct failed inputs and retry the failed items rather than duplicating the full batch.
