FEEDAPTOR / HOW TO

Why is a feed stale, or why did a source-page check find nothing?

Distinguish source freshness from product-page evidence and inspect each separately.

A stale flag compares the age of the last successful source read with the configured freshness threshold. It does not prove that a destination is serving old data, and a recent read does not prove that the source itself contains current stock. Check the source system update pattern, the schedule, and the latest successful job.

Source-page enrichment is a separate, limited check against the approved merchant domain. Save the correct merchant domain and use product URLs on that origin. A page may provide no usable supported attribute, may deny retrieval, or may not match the product. Merchant includes 50 source-page enrichment checks per day. Any captured values remain pending proposals; optional model-generated drafts are inactive.

What to do

  1. Check the last successful snapshot time and freshness threshold.
  2. Inspect the schedule, source update frequency, and latest job result.
  3. For page checks, verify the store domain and matching product URLs.
  4. Reduce the batch to the remaining page-check allowance.
  5. Review retrieved evidence and pending proposals before approving anything.
